Amber Necklace with Nepalese Focal Bead

This is a great necklace to wear when you feel you need help to stay grounded. 

Fun fact:  The components of this necklace have been collected over many years, and sourced around the world.  The focal bead is from Nepal (resin with silver metal that is most likely brass), sourced at a favourite bead shop in New York City.  The amber beads were sourced from a bead shop in Santa Fe, New Mexico.  And the remainder from shops in Toronto.  

The focal bead is 1-1/8" in diameter.  The wood beads are 1/4" in diameter.  The amber beads vary in size. 

The necklace has an extender chain, so the length is 17" - 20".  The findings are all gold-filled.  

Crystal Healing Powers

Amber:  Amber is not a crystal.  It is actually tree resin that has solidified and become fossilized.  It has strong connections with the earth and is very grounding. Amber is a powerful healer, drawing disease out of the body.
